Welcome to GL7's home page.

GL7 is a composite entity. It currently consists of one limited company, two people, two pieces of software and one project proposal.

The company is GL7 Limited. It is incorporated in the UK. It is currently dormant though it has traded in the past and may well do so again in the future. Its articles of Memorandum and Association make it suitable for work in holistic healthcare and all aspects of computing. This interesting combination accurately reflects the interests of the two human components of GL7.

The two people who are part of GL7 are the two directors of the company. They are Patricia Hughes and David Elsdon. Follow the links to their web pages for more about them.

The two pieces of software are a go program, which will be the best in the world by June 2004, and a chat bot who/which currently has an uncertain future.

The proposed piece of software is the Islands of Knowledge project. Please have a look at it and lend a hand if you feel so moved.

The one thing that thing that all parts of GL7 have in common is Artificial Intelligence. GL7 Limited has done some AI work, Patricia and David have many years of experience working in Artificial Intelligence. The go program and the chat bot are both AI programs.

For those of you who would like to get a feel for an Artificial Intelligence project I have included some suggestions for a simple AI project. The projects here start out simply, but they are open ended so that you can push on to solving ever more challenging AI problems. If you need help just email me.
